WATER TEMPERATURE CHALLENGE

Have you ever considered drowning? Well, if you were my friend, he would say that he has. On March 20th at some gulf at the end of a trail in Maine, he jumped in but couldn't surface. Something was holding him down. His screams were muffled by the water and turned into mere bubbles on the surface. The harder he tried, the deeper he sank and the more water went into his lungs.

He kicked. He punched. But nothing was happening. The water stung his nose. All that he could think of was that "there's no way out of this, is there?"

"I've done my time, I did what I could. I guess my end is at the bottom of some dirty lake."

But then he felt a hand grab his before he died, pulling him back up. On the shore he coughed up water and held back the urge to vomit. He looked around, but didn't see anyone.
